Walk one of Australia's Best Walks
Light 2 Light Coastal Walks operate guided and self-guided walks through one of the world's unspoilt coastal environments, spectacular Ben Boyd National Park, in Southern NSW.
Our tours encompass the iconic Light to Light Walk - known as one of Australia's best undiscovered walks - from Boyds Tower, south of Eden, to Green Cape Lighthouse in the beautiful Wilderness Coast region.
Your hosts Tess and Cam are passionate about sharing their local knowledge and ensuring you have a truly unique and rewarding experience.
We know what it takes to make your coastal wilderness experience one to remember. We have travelled Australian coastlines and outback tracks and love to immerse ourselves in all that those environments have to offer.
Cam is an experienced outdoor guide with a love of hiking and outdoor adventure. He is an avid bird watcher and takes pleasure in all the sights and experiences you may encounter while out walking. Cam has spent countless nights under the stars and knows what it takes to make a happy camper.
Tess has over ten years experience in conservation and bushland management with a keen interest and wide knowledge of indigenous plants. She is an experienced cook, and with a focus on local and seasonal produce, she will ensure you never go hungry!
Food matters; it can make or break an experience. We have extensive know-how in remote area catering, ensuring the food is not only fresh and healthy, but tastes amazing too! We have an appetite for cooking (and eating!) fine food, and we use only the best ingredients, showcasing the region’s local oysters, seafood, cheeses and seasonal produce.
We are committed to sustainability and conservation and we believe in leaving only a positive impact behind us. We want to ensure our guests come away with an appreciation for our coastal wilderness and mother nature in its entirety and we will do as much as we can to ensure this experience is possible for generations to come. In the same way, we acknowledge those that have come before us, and pay our respects to the Thaua and Bidawahal people of the Yuin Nation, of whose land on which we walk.
Check Upcoming Departure Dates
Unfortunately due to the recent bushfires, the Light to Light Walk is currently out of action until September 2020. We have limited booking dates available in Spring, until the re-opening date becomes clearer. Thank you for your understanding.

"I had a wonderful and unique experience walking the pristine wilderness Light2Light coastal track from Boyds Tower to Greencape.
The scenery is stunning and the track wanders along the coastline and through some forest and heath areas. The walk ended with a guided tour of Greencape Lighthouse with it's interesting features, history and views.
Our guide was extremely passionate and knowledgeable about the area. It was interesting learning about the local flora and fauna, the Aboriginal connection to the land and the fascinating stories about whaling and early settlement.
The crew were very welcoming and created such a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The camping experience was very comfortable and organised.
The food which included local produce - such as oysters, cheeses and wines was just '5 star' delicious!"
“I knew I was going to enjoy the Light2Light Walk but I had no idea that it was going to be JUST SO GOOD.
From the start to finish, everything was so well organised and professional, and the coastal walk itself was exceptional.
Fabulous April weather, amazing food, great company and lots of fun, and wildlife galore. Wallabies, Possums, Goannas, Wombats, Bandicoots, Seals, Dolphins and endless bird life.
Would I recommend it to friends – ABSOLUTELY!!
It was so good I’ll be back again.
Many thanks tot he crew, and a special mention for the gastronomic catering featuring the best of local produce, with a special mention for the super fresh oysters and mussels.”
The walk is amazing. Doable by anyone of reasonable fitness, and the pace varies with stops to chat about what you see and take photos. All you carry is a day pack - easy.
Tim is an excellent guide as a former National Parks employee at Ben Boyd National Park.
You return to camp to a cup of tea, then we swam in the freshwater creek and then had lovely nibblies before dinner. Oysters one night, a cheese platter with pate another, and with the wine and beer offered, it was a lovely way to wind down.
Dinners were amazing, and we sat around the campfire for dinner and great conversation and then retired to very spacious tents and slept very well.
I’ve done a few guided hikes now and I really enjoyed this one. I thoroughly recommend it - you’ll love it.
Beautiful scenery, great guide, fantastic food ... The Light2Light coastal walk I did over three days was fantastic. Tim was an informative guide with a great sense of humour, the camping was luxurious and the food fantastic. I can highly recommend this walk with the Light2Light people.
I had a wonderful time doing the light to light walk with the affable and generous hosts. The campsite was well equipped and comfortable. The food and wine excellent. The views and landscapes are amazing and Cam and Tess are a font of knowledge on the local botany, ecology and geology. I loved it.
